Gruesome Discovery in Suburban Sydney Triggers Massive Search for Missing TV Presenter and Girlfriend

Horrifying discovery in rubbish bin in suburban Sydney Australia, triggering a massive search by the police for a television (TV) presenter who disappeared with his girlfriend. The Australian TV presenter, who is male, and his girlfriend, who is also male, were reported mysteriously disappeared.

As reported AFPFriday (23/2/2024), the police launched an investigation early this week after a resident found the couple’s belongings in a large trash can in the southern suburbs Sydney.

The items found included piles of blood-stained clothing.

The grisly discovery led police detectives to the home of Jesse Baird, a 26-year-old man known as a former red carpet host and entertainment journalist.

After searching Baird’s apartment in downtown Sydney, detectives said they had “major concerns” for Baird and her boyfriend, 29-year-old Qantas flight attendant Luke Davies.

In further developments reported by local media, a local police officer who once dated Baird was detained on Friday (23/2) morning local time. The identity of the police officer was not revealed to the public.
