Cape Girardeau Police report that 32-year-old Brittany Wilson was found Friday night outside the home where she lived with her boyfriend, with blood on her clothing. A sword was next to her.
The TV channel KFVS reports that the woman had called the emergency number herself and said she killed her boyfriend with a sword. After officers arrested Wilson, they entered the house and found her 34-year-old boyfriend. He had several fresh stab wounds.

Wilson told police she and her boyfriend had taken methamphetamine earlier in the day. She said she saved a friend from evil spirits that might have been in his body.
The woman was smiling in the police photo released after the incident. She is charged with first degree murder.
