Since the artist toured a lot and felt guilty for spending little time with the child, he came up with this way of communicating.
In the preface, Andrei Leonov wrote his own message to his father, in which he shared his memories of the famous artist. It says that the Striped Flight star was kind, humble and helpful to anyone who asked for help. When Leonov Sr. went out with his son somewhere, they were surrounded by people everywhere. At such moments, the child felt uncomfortable.
“And this made it terribly awkward, it began to seem that I was not I, not on my own, but an attachment to you -“ the son of Leonov ””, Andrey Leonov wrote in his letter to his father.
He added that as a child he suffered from complexes and even felt embarrassed due to the popularity of his parent. Perhaps this was the reason why he paid insufficient attention to his beloved dad. Now he would like to fix this and talk heart to heart with Evgeny Leonov.
