A 21-year-old man was shot dead last night on a street in Brooklyn (NYC)outside a residential building.
According to the NYPD, the shooting occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. at 991 Carroll Street in the neighborhood Crown Heights. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim on the sidewalk with numerous gunshot wounds throughout the body.
Paramedics took the victim to NYC Health Hospital/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead, he reported. ABC News. His name was not released. The motive for the crime remains unknown as the investigation continues.
A witness told Daily News that he had heard three gunshots before seeing the victim collapsed on the sidewalk. No arrests have been made so far. nor identified suspects.
