Authorities are looking for the robbers suspected of taking about $50,000 worth of merchandise from a Bronx jewelry store, New York City Police said.
According to the authorities’ report, the incident occurred on Sunday, around 3:45 pm, when the group of five suspects arrived in a black sedan and parked in front of the Jewelry Store located in 1627 Westchester Avenue.
One of them got out of the car and allegedly brandished a large hammer and smashed the store window, police said. Then, together, they took several pieces of jewelry and fled in the same vehicle, added the uniformed woman.
The suspects are described as men in their 20s and 30s and were last seen wearing dark clothing.
