Group of Iranian General who was killed along with Hezbollah Leader who was found

Iranian authorities announced that they had found the body of the Deputy Commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan. It is known that Nilforoushan was killed along with the head of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallahas a result of the Israeli attack late last month in Beirut, Lebanon.

“With hard work and 24-hour efforts, the body of the martyr Abbas Nilforoushan was found,” the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement. AFPSaturday (12/10/2024).

The Iranian government is currently coordinating with the Lebanese authorities to bring back Nilforoushan’s body. Iran immediately made funeral plans for the top officer of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.

“The timing of the transfer of the body of the martyr Nilforoushan to the Islamic homeland as well as plans for his funeral and burial will be announced later,” Iran’s military ideological group said.

Nilforoushan was killed along with Hassan Nasrallah on 27 September 2024. Both died in Lebanon as a result of an attack launched by the army Israel.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps previously confirmed that Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan, who was the deputy commander of Iran’s elite forces operations, was killed along with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah as a result of the Israeli attack. Nilforoushan was in the bunker with the Hezbollah leader when the Israeli bomb hit.

Reported Al-JazeeraOn Sunday (29/9), Nilforoushan was mentioned as someone who worked for the security of Iran and helped the Palestinian cause.
