Group of Female Radio Makers Sets Up Alternative Prize for Best Radio Woman 2023

The prize, which was set up by a group of female radio makers as an alternative to the RadioRing, is receiving a lot of support online. More than ten thousand people have already voted, co-initiator Astrid de Jong said on Tuesday in the NPO1 talk show. Op1.

AVROTROS, the organizer of the RadioRing, called the introduction of the prize “a shame”. “Adjusting our price is precisely intended to promote equality,” a spokesperson said on Tuesday.
