The Regional Intelligence Unit (RUNDE) in Region South is divided into four sections, three with geographical areas of responsibility and an acquisition section where the informant activities are included.
The intelligence unit is responsible for Police Region South’s intelligence activities. At the intelligence unit, operational and strategic intelligence activities are carried out with the aim of preventing, preventing and detecting criminal activity. The task includes mapping organized crime, domestic extremist crime and other serious crime. The intelligence unit supplies decision support to the police region’s management, investigative activities and crime prevention activities. In addition, the intelligence unit cooperates with the other law enforcement agencies in the region.
The informer operation is tasked with delivering information to the intelligence operation based on decided priorities or specific orders. The activity is part of the intelligence process regionally but also nationally. We are now looking for a group manager for the informant operations group 2 with location in Helsingborg or Kristianstad.
Job description
As head of group 2, you report to the head of section and are part of the acquisition section’s management team, where you are jointly responsible for completing assignments and driving the agency’s change and development work. You have particular responsibility for the group’s activities within the informant activities and its results. As a group leader, you represent the entire Police Authority both internally and externally and work to strengthen trust in police operations.

Qualifications
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- police exam in accordance with the Police Ordinance (2014:1104)
- at least six months of continuous experience of having worked as a supervisor, project manager or similar in the last five-year period
- has experience of participating in change and development work
- included in management forum
- experience in the relevant field of activity
- Swedish citizenship
We consider it meritorious if, in addition to this, you also have:
- experience in leading others towards set goals and results
- knowledge of – as well as experience of – the guidelines and laws relating to data collection within the Police Authority’s intelligence operations
- management and leadership training for direct, indirect and/or strategic level
- experience of participating in/cooperating with social actors outside the police organization/own organization
- worked with security issues, risk analyzes of personnel and property, or intelligence analysis.
- experience in a managerial function within the relevant business area
