You will strengthen our team of 5 as group leader for automation and virtualization. We represent a central core of the IT infrastructure, which is constantly being developed and expanded. - You have tasks in the leadership, management and further development of employees while taking into account the target system, customer satisfaction and profitability
- Your team is a central service unit: You design and manage the implementation of our IT services according to ITIL standards, coordinate new orders and changes, and maintain direct contact with our customers from public administration
- You develop operational processes to ensure a stable and reliable IT service hypervisor
- You design the IT system planning when adapting, scaling, optimizing and further developing the IT systems in accordance with the requirements of the ICT infrastructure specifications
THIS IS WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
The following are essential for the performance of the tasks:
- A completed degree (e.g. computer science, business informatics) or comparable knowledge and skills acquired elsewhere
- In-depth knowledge of virtualization and automation environments (e.g. VMware vSphere, Tanzu and Citrix Hypervisor)
- Analytical skills to solve complex problems and situations
- Knowledge of coordinating tasks within a team to achieve specified goals
- German language skills at language level C2 (GER)
- You agree to have an extended security check (SÜ 2) carried out in accordance with Section 11 of the Berlin Security Check Act (BSÜG).
Furthermore, the following are advantageous for the performance of tasks:
- Initial leadership experience (disciplinary or in projects)
- Successful planning and management of projects for the introduction and further development of IT services
