For a long time, Sweden was the odd one out in Europe with its corona approach: no lockdown, but a strong appeal to the citizens’ own responsibility. Vulnerable groups were called upon to protect themselves so that public life could continue as much as possible. In the meantime, some degree of group immunity could be built up among the population. The government now seems to be taking a new direction.
