“I want to express great confidence in Bper’s growth prospects” which features “solid capital and a large liquidity buffer” together with “a continuous improvement in asset quality”. This was underlined by the CEO. of Bper, Alessandro Vandelli, on a conference call to present the 2020 accounts. Vandelli highlighted the sustainability of the 4 cent dividend “proposed in full compliance with the ECB prudential guidelines”. A choice, he added, “with which we believe we have laid the foundations for a significant increase in future remuneration for our shareholders”.
