O WhatsApp just released one more news to its loyal users. The messaging app will now allow a contact to contact group calls at any time, not just at the time the call is made. Until now, you had to answer the call right away to join the conversation.
To facilitate the use of the tool, the application created an information screen where contacts who are already participating in the call and those who were invited are displayed, but who have not yet entered the chat. The resource is being released gradually since last Monday, 19.
The company also announced that users can ignore the call at first, but then join the conversation by accessing the “Calls” menu.
In March, the WhatsApp started to allow voice and video calls from the computer, another step to improve the user experience with calls. Amidst the pandemic, the app registered a record number of calls, with 1.4 billion having been made on the 2020 New Year holiday alone.
