Group B standings for the 2022 AFF U-19 Cup until the Third Matchday: Malaysia U-19 National Team Drops to Second Position: Okezone Bola

Two Group B matches were presented at the Madya Stadium, Jakarta, Thursday (7/7/2022). The first match brought together Malaysia with the Singapore U-19 national team and the other match featured the Laos U-19 national team against the Cambodia U-19 national team.

Let’s discuss the Malaysian match first. The Malaysia-Singapore match was fierce from the first minute, but both teams struggled to score goals.

Both teams had chances, but finishing was a problem. As a result, the first half ended with a score of glasses.

The second half went back fiercely. Malaysia and Singapore took turns launching attacks to win full points.

However, both teams had to settle for one point after the match ended with a spectacle score. This result makes Malaysia occupy the top of Group B with a collection of four points.

Unfortunately, Malaysia only took first place for a moment. Because, the first position was taken again by Laos who reaped positive results when they met Cambodia.

Laos looked good since the match started. Cambodia is also trying to balance the game Laos which appears aggressive.

Even so, the Cambodian goal was finally broken by Peeter Phanthavong (7′ and 25′). Cambodia retaliated with Sauvan Dauna (84′).

Finally, the match finished with a score of 2-1 for Laos victory. Laos also returned to first position with a collection of six points.
