The cumbia singer and leader of Grupo 5, Christian Yaipén, is more than happy because the music platform Spotify gave them the exorbitant figures they achieved in 2020.

Despite not being an easy year for Grupo 5, which has had to do one of the obligatory events in their live shows, they have been able to turn the situation around.

According to Spotify statistics, Group 5 had 44.9 million views and users listened to the artists’ music for 3.1 million hours. In addition, listeners number about 2.4 million users in 87 countries around the world.

How did Christian Yaipén celebrate?

The singer of “Cambio mi corazón” took his suitcases and went to sunbathe on the Ballestas Islands, in Ica.

From Paracas, the youngest of the Yaipén posted a photo and funny stories where he enjoys the sea and the sun.

“Celebrating almost 45 million this year in @spotifylatam @spotify # Grupo5 #Cumbia #ChristianYaipen”, wrote Yaipén who is already preparing for his new year’s show.
