The musical Groundhog Day is based on the 1993 American comedy film of the same name, starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell. Harold Ramis’ film won the British Comedy Award in the “Best Comedy” category, among others. The musical premiered on Broadway in March 2017. It features a musical range from swing to pop music, and perfectly advances the funny, romantic, and at times dark story.
