A batch of repaired ZSU-23-4M Shilka has been handed over to the units of the Ground Forces of Ukraine. This is reported Ukroboronprom.

It is noted that the state-owned enterprise Balakleysky Repair Plant completed the overhaul of equipment on time and with high quality.

“After conducting field tests, the equipment was handed over to the customer,” the message says.

ZSU-23-4 Shilka is a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun designed for direct air defense of ground troops, destruction of flying air targets at a speed of up to 450 m / s at a distance of up to 2.5 thousand meters and an altitude of up to 1.5 thousand meters, as well as ground (surface) targets at a distance of up to 2 thousand meters from a place, from a short stop and on the move.
