Groom, the author of Forrest Gump – La Stampa, is dead

Writer Winston Groom, 77, author of ‘Forrest Gump’ has died. CNN reports it citing Karin Wilson, mayor of Fairhope, the hometown of Groom in Alabama. From his novel was born the film by Robert Zemeckis and starring Tom Hanks, winner of six Oscars.
