A few meters from the scene of the crime in Greenland in Oslo, a surveillance camera captured what should be the man now accused of murder with a weapon in his hand.
VG is informed of this.
It was early Sunday morning that a man stopped I shoot and killed right at the Greenland metro station in Oslo. A 31-year-old man was later arrested, charged with the murder.
Police also arrested a 20-year-old man and jailed him for complicity, but he was released on Wednesday as police believe suspicions against him have abated.
Police also believe they have control over the murder weapon, after the 31-year-old himself accused of murder was supposed to explain where the weapon was. In the interrogation he has attached to the action.
– It hasn’t been questioned yet, but we’re working on it. We have not gotten to the point where he has taken sides on the question of guilt, police attorney Kari Kirkhorn told VG Wednesday.
For NRK extension says Kirkhorn that so far in the investigation there is no indication that it is a deal between criminal rings. Police are now hard at work investigating whether and possibly what the motive or motive may be.

Key investigative material
The police confirm that the photo that VG shows in this case is part of the investigative material.
According to information from VG, the photo shows the man accused of murder, standing at the entrance to an apartment building with a weapon in his hand. On either side of the entrance area where the man is located, there is a cafe and commercial premises at street level.
The offended man was found killed in the street just 10-20 meters from the entrance. The police left after receiving a complaint by a witness who heard gunshots.
VG has been in contact with the man’s defender, Tor Even Gjendem, about this case.
– I do not wish to comment on the photo and the police have expressed their wish not to publish it to influence witnesses. I support it, she says.
The image in question was shared online as early as Sunday, including on the social media platform Snapchat.
Police Prosecutor Kirkhorn points out that a picture shared on social media spreads quickly and widely, especially if there is a lot of interest.
– Once it has been shared, it is difficult to prevent it from spreading further and it remains in many places. How many people have access to it depends on which groups it’s shared in and how many people are in which groups. It’s hard to get an overview of this, she says.
Convicted several times previously
The twenty-year-old, initially accused of conspiracy to murder, has always denied any involvement in the murder. He was thus released on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old accused of murder is already convicted several timesalso for a dozen robberies, attempted robberies, violence and drug dealing in the center of Oslo.
In one instance, he is said to have threatened to shoot the goalkeeper if he was not allowed back in after being thrown out. In 2016, he knocked a man unconscious with the handle of a folding knife.
– Bad lucky
– We think it’s a shame that photos of an incident under investigation are being shared, says police attorney Kirkhorn.
He says police are still investigating whether there could be any other suspects in the case and that it’s still so early in the investigation that police want to get in touch with more witnesses they haven’t spoken to yet.
Kaja De Vibe Malling is an advocate who assists the bereaved. In a comment to VG, she says that the family is going through a very difficult moment and she sees the publication of the photo as an additional burden.
