(ANSA) – TEMPIO PAUSANIA, 07 NOV – According to the defense consultant, in the rape trial involving Ciro Grillo, Francesco Corsiglia, Vincenzo Lauria and Eodoardo Capitta, doubts emerge about the reliability of the main accuser of the four young people. Psychologist Lucia Tattoli, defense consultant called to testify together with three other experts from the same pool of lawyers representing the defendants, spoke about it this morning in the Tempio Pausania courtroom. In her report, the psychologist analyzed the behaviour, reliability and psychological state of the girl, alleged victim of rape, on the basis of the statements made in the courtroom during her hearing and the messages that the young woman exchanged with friends both before that after the night between 16 and 17 July 2019, when the violence occurred. According to the consultant, the student, 19 years old at the time, lied about her eating disorders: she always declared that she began to suffer from anorexia and bulimia after the rape, as a consequence of the severe trauma she suffered. A circumstance, however, denied by numerous messages and chats in which she herself would have talked about her disorders even before July 2019. The psychologist then highlighted how the young woman was subjected, immediately after the report to the police at the Milan station, five years ago, to the specific treatment provided for by the Red Code for victims of sexual violence, a therapy that would lead to the removal of some tragic and traumatic facts from the memory. Interferences on the memory mechanism which, according to the psychologist, “could have influenced her, erasing all those details that would not be consistent with her version”. Hence the doubts expressed by Tattoli about the student’s reliability. (HANDLE).
