Who replaces Jackson in Grey’s Anatomy?
You are probably aware that the comedian Jesse Williams bid farewell to Grey’s Anatomy during season 17 of the show. His character indeed decided to become more involved in his family foundation in order to promote racial equity in the medical world. Jackson, accompanied by his daughter Harriet and his ex April, moved to Boston.
After the death of Mark, aka Doctor Glamor, and the Jackson’s departure, the post of head of the plastic and reconstructive surgery department was therefore vacant. He’s going to be busy again in season 18 of the show.
And it will be for the first time a woman: the Dr Michelle Lin. Viewers have already met her in the 2nd episode of the season currently broadcast across the Atlantic.
Who is actress Lynn Chen in Grey’s Anatomy?
Actress Lynn Chen has therefore moved from guest star status to that of “regular” for the upcoming episodes of season 18 of Grey’s Anatomy.
She is an actress that fans of television series know well. She has indeed already been seen in the feel good series Shameless but also in the horror series Fear the Walking Dead or the police series NCIS: Los Angeles.

She will therefore give the reply to historic casting of Grey’s Anatomy, Ellen Pompeo, Shandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr, Camilla Luddington and Kevin McKidd. But also to the actress Kate Walsh who made her return in Grey’s Anatomy, but also Scott Speedman who played Nick Marsh in season 14.
Other new faces will accompany him and in particular that of actor Peter Gallagher (Newport beach, Grace & Frankie) who plays Dr David Hamilton and ER Fighmaster (Shrill) who plays Dr Kai, the first non-binary doctor in the medical series .
