They were a real dream couple, even if the path was often difficult. April and Jackson will be fondly remembered by most Grey’s Anatomy fans. Now the two characters meet again for the first time.

It’s also the heartbreak that many Grey’s Anatomy fans cherish. Viewers can tell if they remember April (Sarah Drew, 41) and Jackson (Jesse Williams, 39). The couple have had ups and downs from simple sex to broken weddings and the untimely death of their son Samuel. In season 14, Sarah Drew ended her role as a doctor after accompanying the character for nine years.
Dr. April Kepner suffered a serious car accident and almost died a serial death, but to the delight of the fans, the accident was averted and Dr. Kepner was happy with her then ex-fiancé Matthew Taylor (Justin Bruening). From then on, she was no longer in the series, but the character was supposed to continue to reside in Seattle and treat the homeless there.
In the upcoming episode “Grey’s Anatomy”, however, a moment follows that fans have longed for: Jackson finally meets April again. Since the two of them liked to spark unexpectedly in the past, everything is now open, as the first pictures show.
Camilla Luddington also cut a fine figure in pictures just four weeks after the birth of her daughter on the red carpet.

It’s Sarah Drew’s first appearance since leaving Grey’s Anatomy in 2018 and the chemistry between the two characters still seems to be right. It is not yet known what consequences the reunion will have, but the loving looks cannot mean anything bad. It is quite possible that both characters are now leading their own lives and that the meeting will not go beyond a friendly level.
