Regent of Gresik Fandi Akhmad Yani or Gus Yani was seen attending the Nderek Kiai Prabowo-Gibran Declaration at the Bumi Sholawat Islamic Boarding School, Lebo, Sidoarjo, Thursday (1/2).
Even though he was the regional head nominated by PDIP in the 2020 Gresik Regional Election. Yani also often attends events and safaris for presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo.

At the event, he sat next to Kiai and Gus. Among them are the Main Caretaker of the Bumi Sholawat Islamic Boarding School KH Agoes Ali Mashuri, the Caregiver of the Ammanutul Umah Islamic Boarding School KH Asep Saifuddin Chalim, the Regent of Sidoarjo Ahmad Muhdlor Ali alias Gus Muhdlor.
Yani himself is the son-in-law of KH Agoes Ali Mashuri. Meanwhile, the Regent of Sidoarjo, Gus Muhdlor, is the biological son of the great kiai in Sidoarjo.
After the declaration, Yani did not say a word. He was seen hobbling while being held by two people.
