Grenoble: the “Champollion” exhibition remains open until October 1

The “Champollion” exhibition opened last May at the Grenoble study and heritage library. This event, which was to end on August 20, will remain open until October 1. This extension is an opportunity for visitors to take part in the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the deciphering of hieroglyphs by Champollion.

“Hieroglyphs – the Champollion method” offers an exhibition on the journey of Jean-François Champollion, the first man to have deciphered hieroglyphs.

The library located at 12 Boulevard Maréchal Lyautey is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. with free admission.

Guided tours can be booked by phone on 04 76 86 21 00 or by email [email protected]
