Barely enough time to recover from a three-game week in Ligue 2. Grenoble will be on deck again on Wednesday in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France. The GF38 will face Vierzon FC (National 2) last representative of amateur football in this edition. The Isérois will be deprived of many injuries (Straalman, Perez, Ngando, Mendy, Touray, Isola) as well as Amine Sbaï, suspended. Before joining the Cher (by plane for the players, by minibus for the staff) to evolve on the synthetic lawn of the Brouhot Stadium, Jorris Correa was at a press conference on Tuesday. The forward doesn’t expect the game of the year. Only a qualification in the quarter-finals, which has not happened since 2009, will count.

« We face amateurs but we will do everything to avoid the trap. We are preparing like for a Ligue 2 match. There is a quarter-final to go and the motivation comes by itself. The goal is to qualify. The way, who cares. »
