Grêmio resumed negotiations for the Uruguayan striker, Facundo Pellistri. The 21-year-old belongs to Manchester United, from England, and Tricolor is looking for a loan. The information is from Radio Guaíba reporter Rafael Pfeiffer.
This is the second time that Tricolor is looking for the athlete. In April, the negotiation did not advance due to Erik Ten Hag’s desire to wear the number 28 shirt, which did not happen for the rest of the season. Twente, from the Netherlands, appears as an occurrence. The attempt is to cover part of the Uruguayan’s salaries. In Manchester, he receives around 1.5 million euros (R$ 8.2 million) per season.
Revealed by Peñarol, Facundo Pellistri was bought by Manchester United for 10 million euros (about R$ 60 million, at the time) in 2020. After being loaned to Alavés, from Spain, the striker returned to England.
