Grégory Proment in Seraing, Stéphane Saillant on the bench of the reserve team

Changes were to be expected within the organizational structure of the Metz training center now headed by Sébastien Muet.

It’s now official: as we announced to you a few days ago, Stephane Saillant takes control of the reserve team (National 2) instead of Gregory Proment.

The latter is leaving a position he had held since 2018 to join RFC Seraing where he will now be in charge of the U21s of the Belgian satellite club FC Metz.

Passed by the training centers of AC Ajaccio and SC Bastia, Stéphane Saillant, originally from Marseille (48 years old) recently held the position of training director of the Qatari club of Al Gharafa Sports Club.

So far in charge of U17s, Sylvain Marchal will assist Stéphane Saillant on the bench of the reserve team.

On his side Laurent Agouazi will take care of the U19 Messins.

Also note thatEmmanuel Beauchet, back from Senegal, where he was manager of the Génération Foot Academy, takes the reins of the Espoir Group and will at the same time be the head of the U17 team.

Finally, José Pinot will devote himself exclusively to his role of responsible for pre-training, since the Pagnotin Romuald Giambérini, who returned to the club last season, is appointed technical manager of the Football School.
