ÖFB star Michael Gregoritsch has been particularly accurate in the Linz Raiffeisen Arena so far.
Striker Joker Michael Gregoritsch has found his way back into the ÖFB squad in time for the Nations League home double against Kazakhstan and Norway (Thursday and Sunday, 8:45 p.m., live ORF1) in Linz. The 30-year-old, who was recently forced to take a month off due to a torn muscle fiber, is a specialist in scoring goals in Linz’s Raiffeisen Arena, as he was able to prove last year.
Gregoritsch has already scored three times in Linz
The Freiburg professional has now scored 16 goals in 59 games with the Austrian national team. “Gregerl” appeared on the Linz lawn a total of three times in the red-white-red jersey – and was expected to score every time. “Linz expert” Gregoritsch struck both during the European Championship qualification in March 2023 against Azerbaijan (4:1) and Estonia (2:1), and six months later in the friendly match with Moldova (1:1).
