Indonesia widen advantage over Russia from Sudirman Cup 2021. That’s after Gregoria Mariska Tunjung won 21-14 and 21-13 over Anastasiia Shapovalova.
Gregoria Mariska Tunjung faces Anastasiia Shapovalova at the Energia Arena, Vantaa, Sunday (26/9/2021) evening WIB, in the Group C party Sudirman Cup 2021. Gregoria was fighting for points tightly until the score was 8-8.
After that, the 22-year-old badminton player won seven consecutive points and left Shapovalova. Gregoria Mariska Tunjung in the process won the first game 21-14.
Gregoria tried to control the match better in the second game and immediately kept the distance from winning 4-2. The advantage over Shapovalova was successfully maintained by the athlete from Wonogiri to lock the game with 21-13.
Thanks to victory Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, Indonesia is now 2-0 up over Russia in the 2021 Sudirman Cup Group C match. Previously, Indonesia had opened the scoring through the men’s singles Anthony Sinisuka Ginting who overcame Ivan Sozonov.
