[Regista Ricardo Rodriguez]
“Hello everyone. First of all I would like to thank the fans and the fans of the Reds for the two years we spent together. I started to change the style that was required of me and in addition to that the club was asked to win the Scudetto., And I think I was able to do that Another request is the ACL (AFC Champions League) Not only did I participate, but I was able to move on to the final.
The club has decided to go through this process with a different manager next season. As a professional, I respect this decision. I came to Asia nine years ago to a small club in Thailand. From there, I was able to reach the ACL final through a series of difficulties that only my family knew about, so I feel like I wanted to fight in that match. I expect and hope Urawa wins. And I wish the next director good luck.
I would like to thank the players for their efforts over the past two years. I would also like to thank the club staff, including reception, for loving me from day one. We failed to win the championship. But I think it’s also something you win as a result of the process. It is not easy to win the championship in J. I think it is something that wins while making many right decisions.
This season was the start of the season with various problems including bad luck in the reinforcement. And even though I wanted to continue this process with them, it was a club decision. It is a decision that I accept and respect. I wish Urawa Red Diamonds every success in the future. The two years in Urawa have been happy.
Obviously I think I have made some mistakes in this. And I think it’s important to think first. Winning the Emperor’s Cup will be a memory for the rest of my life. We had a great day at the National Stadium. I will never forget the SUPER CUP (FUJIFILM) with (Kawasaki) Frontale. And I will never forget the moment we all celebrated the ACL finals at Saitama Stadium. I will never forget how we celebrated by singing “We are Diamonds” together as we challenged each other at the height of Asia. I am proud to have been able to work as a manager of Urawa Red Diamonds. A thousand thanks”
