Stuttgart (dpa) – traffic light or kiwi? Between the management of the Corona crisis, Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann is again this week dealing with the question of which government he wants to use with his Greens to determine the future of the country. The Greens have the choice between a new edition of Green-Black and the experiment of a traffic light coalition with the SPD and FDP – and they are ensnared by all three parties.
Kretschmann first explained the latest Corona resolutions to Parliament in a special session on Wednesday morning. The second exploratory round with the FDP begins in the afternoon (4 p.m.). On Thursday, the Greens speak to the SPD first (10:00 a.m.), then to the CDU (1:30 p.m.). Last week, the parties were invited in reverse order. Negotiations will take place again in the House of Architects in Stuttgart. On Tuesday, Kretschmann announced further exploratory talks for next week. He said he had no preference at all.
The interlocutors have agreed not to disclose the negotiations – at the request of the head of government, as it was said last week. Press statements are not provided.
