Due to a delay in delivery, the distribution of biodegradable kraft paper bags used by individuals for the collection of green waste experienced a supply disruption. For the past few weeks, it has therefore been impossible to obtain them at the distribution sites in the cities of the Chartres conurbation concerned by the operation (Chartres, Champhol, Le Coudray, Lucé, Luisant, Lèves and Mainvilliers). This while the distribution of all the bags, launched at the beginning of February, was to end on April 30, 2022.
Why can’t we get kraft paper bags on the Chartres agglomeration anymore?
Faced with this lack of supply of kraft paper bags, Chartres Métropole, announces, this Wednesday, April 20, the extension of the distribution until May 7, a week longer than planned.
In Luisant next week, then Lèves in early May
From a practical point of view, everyone will be able to pick up their allocation of garbage bags in Luisant next week, in the technical services hall, 8 bis rue Victor-Hugo (Monday April 25, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., from Tuesday April 26 to Friday April 29, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday April 30, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.).
The distribution will end, finally, at Students, Soutine room, 41, rue de la Chacatière (Monday May 2, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., from Tuesday May 3 to Friday May 6, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday May 7, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.).
Practice. Free distribution upon presentation of proof of residence less than three months old (invoice, rent receipt, etc.) If you cannot travel, it is possible to entrust your proof of residence to a relative who will pick up your bags.
