The City of Columbus and the Ohio Department of Health will allow a maximum of 1,953 spectators – or 10% of the Nationwide Arena’s total capacity – for at least 16 home games, starting March 2 against the Detroit Red Wings.

Fans entering the amphitheater will need to complete a form available online and wear a face cover. Members of the same family will have to occupy consecutive seats to form a bubble and respect the rules of social distancing. Tickets will be electronic, and food concessions will only accept electronic transactions.

Blue Jackets fans were unable to attend their favorites’ home games this season due to health restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The last time they were able to attend a Jackets game in person was on 1is March 2020, about a week before the start of the pandemic and the cessation of activities in the NHL.

The Blue Jackets are therefore added to a few rare NHL concessions that have already started welcoming fans in their home games.
