The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation launched the “Green Government Innovations and Climate Technology” report through the “Innovate” knowledge platform, with the aim of spreading the culture of innovation and inspiring government institutions, the business sector and companies with the qualitative impact of the best and most applicable global practices, ensuring that communities around the world, and serves the goals of sustainable development.
The report highlights the ambitious projects that have been implemented around the world in two main aspects: sustainable government efforts and climate technology. Its launch was part of the initiatives supporting the UAE’s directions in the Year of Sustainability and in line with the country’s preparations to host the COP28 Conference of the Parties next November.
The launch came during an event held by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment yesterday at its headquarters in Dubai, in the presence of Her Excellency Maryam bint Mohammed Al Muhairi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Hoda Al Hashemi, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs, and a number of officials from both sides.
