A green certificate can be introduced for doctors and people working in social homes. This became clear from the words of the Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Alexander Zlatanov on BTV.
The new measures, which will be taken at the national level, will be discussed today at 2 pm in the Ministry of Health. One of them has a green certificate to enter restaurants, stadiums, hotels. We have already talked with the branch organizations, the sports clubs.
It will be given to those who have been vaccinated, who have had a coronavirus infection, who have had a PCR or an antigen test. The antigen test is valid for 48 hours and PCR for 72 hours. They will be made in laboratories.
The price of the antigens is about BGN 3.50 – 5. The state will submit 1 million antigen tests. The laboratories will pay for their return. As the price will be approximately the same.
The green certificate will be introduced for the places where many people gather, explained Dr. Zlatanov.
He did not rule out that there will be one for the medics, as they will have to take a test before entering their workplace if they have not been vaccinated. The Deputy Minister admitted that the immunization of doctors is not at the required level.
In order for children to learn, a similar measure could be discussed for all school staff to make sure the environment is safe, he explained.
He added that there was no shortage of COVID beds in Sofia, but the system was busy.
