Green Bay Packers linebacker De’Vondre Campbell has spoken up for teammate Jordan Love after the latter was harshly criticized by CBS Sports Network host Adam Schein.
in one Tweet Campbell said, “It can’t be that you show up here in your Steve Harvey suit and your cheap Dollar Tree glasses and disrespect my quarterback by saying he can’t play football. He’s only got one start in his career, let him play at least half a season before you open your stupid mouth.”
Adam Schein had criticized Love’s performances early in training camp and expressed doubts about the 24-year-old quarterback’s prospects of being a productive passer.
“I detest love. despise love I mean everyone looks great during the preseason except apparently Jordan Love who says he’s been struggling,” Schein said Friday.
“It’s going to be a predictable disaster with Jordan Love in Green Bay,” he added.
The Packers offense struggled during camp with many young players and Jordan Love’s limited experience. The young quarterback is set to take over the role of starter after Aaron Rodgers left the team.

Jordan Love himself is trying to stay away from the negative voices on social media to focus on training and preparing for the season.
“I’m staying away from social media at the moment. It’s training camp so it’s not like we have a lot of time,” Love said on Tuesday, according to WBAY’s Adriana Torres.
So far, Jordan Love has had limited experience in the first three seasons of his career. A former first round pick, he has rushed for 606 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions, making only one start in his career when he was a substitute for Aaron Rodgers. Expectations are high for Love and he will be given the opportunity to prove himself throughout the season and his teammates are supporting him in the process.
