“Wara by Meta, is the name of our Research Center for Post-Capitalism Civilization,” warns Janis Warufakis and addresses the owner of Facebook: “You and your minions – you will not understand what civilization is, even if it hits you with a stick.”
According to experts, the reason for the change of the name, Facebook to Meta, announced the day before yesterday, is largely the desire to escape from the deteriorating atmosphere around the company. Recently, a former employee took documents from the company to prove that Facebook had detailed knowledge of the disastrous impact of its activities, including on children, but did not do anything about it, focusing solely on profits.
In addition, a few days ago, Mark Zukerberg became another accused in the case of illegal use of data about Faceboook users in profiled political campaigns conducted by Cambridge Analityca.
Zuckerberg does not respond to the criticism of the former Greek minister. This may be due to the fact that hardly anyone has heard about the center’s activities. The trouble is that this organization employs famous economists and artists, including famous scientists such as Noam Chomsky, or James Galbraith, director Ken Loach, and musician Brian Eno, who collaborated, among others, with U2, Ultravox and Phil Collins. Noam Chomsky made computer science history with his 1950s language analysis, and Brian Eno wrote the Microsoft 95 startup sound.
