Greece stipulates commanding hours and mandatory wearing of masks in the regions of the world

The Greek authorities have imposed a curfew in the most vulnerable regions of the coronavirus and mandatory wearing of face masks in all public places.

Prime Minister Kirjaks Micotakis announced that a curfew is scheduled for Saturday from 11.30 pm to 5.30 am.

People living in the “red” and “orange” regions will have to stay at home, except for night workers or those who provide important services.

The curfew is set in the regions of the country’s two largest cities, Athens and Thessaloniki, which are home to more than half – 5.7 million – of the country’s 11 million inhabitants.

According to Micotakis, the government hopes to avoid stricter restrictions and hinted that the curfew is aimed at visitors to the entertainment venue, which is currently the biggest source of infection.

He called on young people to behave responsibly and stay at home.

Health authorities said there had been a new record of 882 infections in the previous day, with 15 people dead. A total of 549 people died in Covid-19 in Greece.
