President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Greece for the upcoming training of Ukrainian pilots to pilot F-16 fighters. According to him, Greece will join the coalition of countries that will conduct training.
“Today we have an important result for the aviation coalition – Greece will take part in the training of our pilots on the F-16. And I thank Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and your team for their readiness to help more with the defense of Ukraine’s freedom,” Zelensky said on his telegram channel. The President added that Ukrainians had earlier started piloting training in Denmark.
Earlier URA.RU reported that the Netherlands promised Ukraine to provide 42 fighters. Denmark announced the delivery of another 19 aircraft to Kyiv.
