The obligation to prove infectivity on trips to the islands remained in force after the Greek government lifted the vast majority of restrictions and bans on national trips in mid-May. Last week, the government ordered the duty to begin inspecting the Coast Guard in ports. Until then, the regulation was not very enforced, said now Minister of Shipping Jannis Plakiotakis. Newly, ferry passengers returning from the islands to the mainland must also prove their infectivity.
