The general quarantine in Greece will last until April 5, Deputy Minister of Civil Protection Nikos Hardalias announced at a briefing, quoted by TASS, BTA reported.
The government was expected to announce a relaxation of some measures against the coronavirus today, but experts advising the cabinet decided it was too early to open shops and schools.
General quarantine in Greece has been in effect since November 7, when cinemas, theaters, museums, concert halls, sports facilities, nightclubs and restaurants could only sell food for home. Masks are obligatory both indoors and outdoors.
