Greece boycotts Moscow, refuses important meeting

The Greek delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) will not take part in its regular 59th meeting, scheduled for June 6-9 in Moscow, Sky TV reported.

The decision was made by Greek Parliament Speaker Costas Tasulas over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

This will be the first time since Greece joined the organization in 1995 that the country has been absent from the six-month meeting.

Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Northern Macedonia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Ukraine, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Turkey are participating in the PABSEC.
