Greater Paris ZFE: 560,000 vehicles banned from driving since January…

On January 1, 2025, the low-emission transit zone (ZFE-m) of the Greater Paris metropolitan area will indeed have to shift up a gear. This system, implemented from 2019 to combat air pollution, aims to prevent the circulation of the most polluting vehicles with the goal of an area free of thermal vehicles by 2030. After the ban on Crit’Air 4 and 5 vehicles, it is the same for Crit’Air 3 Vehicles (petrol before 2006 and diesel by 2011) to be prohibited from driving within the area designated by the A86. If checked, offenders will be fined 68 euros.
