Haval H3
The Great Wall Motor concern announced that the Haval car line in Russia will be supplemented with the H3 crossover. Sales will start in the second quarter of this year. Prices will be announced closer to this date.

The car has the following dimensions: 4520 mm in length, 1875 mm in width and 1745 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2710 mm. Ground clearance is 196 mm, and approach and departure angles are 24° and 26°, respectively.
The model will receive two types of drive – front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The first one is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol turbo engine producing 143 hp. (210 Nm), with the second – by 177 hp. (270 Nm). In both cases, the engine is combined with a 7-speed robot. The front suspension is MacPherson type, the rear is independent multi-link.
Crossover Haval H3 for the Russian market
The equipment of the Haval H3 includes a wide range of options: from a full “winter package” to a seat memory function. In addition, there are front, side and rear view cameras, as well as driver assistants such as adaptive cruise control, lane control, transparent hood projection function, etc. And the H3 also has a stereo system with a 4D effect: 16 speakers are located in all parts of the cabin, including the ceiling space.
Geely Monjaro
Geely has decided to update the Monjaro crossover for Russia. The model received only new design solutions; optionally, all configurations remained the same.

In the Luxury and Flagship versions, the brown and beige interior color scheme was replaced by a new combination of black eco-leather and suede. The multifunctional steering wheel was also decorated with black leather, and the elements of the instrument and door panels were decorated with suede and eco-leather. Door cards and atmospheric interior lighting were made in a new stylistic concept.
The Geely Monjaro Exclusive is now offered in two exterior colors. The first is the familiar emerald metallic. They began installing R20 wheels with a unique design on it. The interior of this version remains the same. But the second version of the “exclusive” version received a new matte gray body color called Lomo Grey. Its finishing is made of black eco-leather and suede.

There are no changes in technical terms. The crossover is sold in Russia with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 238 hp, an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
The price of the updated Monjaro has not changed and starts from 4,694,990 rubles, and when purchasing on credit and under the Trade-in scheme, the minimum cost will be 4,037,990 rubles.
BAIC X55
The BAIC brand announced that sales of the 2024 model year X55 crossover will start in Russia.

The basic Comfort package includes heated front seats and windshield washer nozzles. The fabric seat upholstery has been replaced – now it is made of eco-leather, and the steering wheel is covered with genuine leather. Also standard equipment includes: a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and a center armrest for second-row passengers.
The new BAIC X55 Luxury package, in addition to the basic options, has a panoramic electric roof, roof rails, hidden electric door handles, a heated steering wheel, a contactless sensor for the electric tailgate, an improved audio system (8 speakers instead of 4), contour lighting of the interior and front side airbags.

The top-spec Elite has been updated with an expanded “winter package” that includes heated steering wheel, windshield and rear seats.
The cost of the BAIC X55 Comfort for the 2024 model year will be 2,970,000 rubles, Luxury – 3,120,000, Elite – 3,350,000 rubles.
Omoda C5
The cost of the new and, in parallel, the most affordable version of the Omoda C5 crossover has become known. The Fun package will cost 2,179,900 rubles; if you take advantage of the maximum benefit when you trade-in the car, this figure can be reduced to 1,999,000 rubles.

This crossover is powered by a front-wheel drive transmission and a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 147 hp. in combination with a continuously variable transmission.
The starting C5 configuration is equipped with 17-inch wheels, air conditioning, as well as key options for comfort and safety.
The car’s base already has a keyless entry system, cruise control, a rear view camera, a tire pressure and temperature monitoring system, a package of winter options, which includes a remote start and interior heating system, heated windshield, front seats, steering wheel and injectors washer, multifunction steering wheel, 10.25-inch multimedia system and much more.
In addition to the new Fun modification, Omoda C5 is currently offered in Russia in five versions: Joy, Lifestyle, Ultimate, Active and Supreme.
Jack J8
The Jaecoo brand continues to stir up interest in its J8 crossover, which will hit our market this month. This time, the company said that the new product will be available in three trim levels (Active, Supreme and Supreme V) and will be able to offer an advanced Torque-Vectoring all-wheel drive system in the top version.

Unlike the standard all-wheel drive found on Active and Supreme trims, the Torque-Vectoring rear differential housing houses not one, but two clutches that distribute torque to the left and right wheels independently of each other.
In addition, a dog clutch is installed in the rear differential housing, as well as in the angular drives, which opens the connection between the rear differential and the driveshaft in cases where the use of all-wheel drive is impractical. This allows you to disable the driveshaft, which has a positive effect on fuel consumption and environmental friendliness.
VGV
The VGV brand has announced updated technical specifications of its Russian model line – the mid-size crossovers VGV U70 Pro and U75 Plus.

For the Russian market, large-scale adjustments were made to the cars. Thus, 141 and 169 components have been changed in cars, respectively. Among other things, the suspension was recalibrated, the operating algorithms of engines and hydromechanical automatic transmissions were optimized, and the media system was completely Russified. Power units are adapted for AI-92 gasoline.
Also, cars for the Russian market have acquired an expanded “winter package”, which already includes heated front seats, exterior mirrors, windshield and rear windows, windshield washer nozzles and steering wheel as standard. In addition, the cars received improved noise insulation and ground clearance of 190-200 mm.
Crossover VGV U75 Plus
The U70 Pro model is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine (143 hp, 215 Nm), with a choice of “mechanics” and a traditional “automatic”, but only front-wheel drive.
The U75 Plus crossover, with the same external dimensions, is distinguished by the presence of a multi-link rear suspension, a ground clearance of 190 mm and a more productive 2-liter gasoline engine with direct injection and turbocharging (199 hp). The top-end engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
According to Chinese Cars, VGV sales will start in mid-May.
Shoot
Brand Otting will introduce it to the Russian market in 2024, not two new products, as previously planned, but four.
We are talking about a compact crossover, a large-size SUV, as well as a “car at the intersection of LCV segments” and a pickup truck. This became known following a trip of Russian dealers of the brand to the headquarters of Sinomach Automobile in Beijing.
Oting now sells the Paladin SUV in our country. The car is offered at a price of 3,799,000 rubles.
