In the horror comedy Mad Heidi, the wise girl from the Swiss mountains has grown up and is back to take her revenge. The daughter of the Alps created in 1880 by Johanna Spyri is now a warrior and sets out on a crusade against a megalomaniacal cheese tycoon who has become president of a totalitarian Switzerland.
Worn by Alice Lucy and Casper Van Dien, protagonist of Starship Troopers who here embodies the cheese-loving dictator, the feature film declares itself the first film of the “Swissploitation”.
On the program of this dystopian film: magnificent hilly landscapes, traditional clothes and above all cheese… But this time the latter is used to torture opponents of power!
Totally banned, the feature won the Audience Award at the last International Fantastic Film Festival in Brussels.
Released in Swiss theaters on November 24, Mad Heidi by Johannes Hartmann and Sandro Klopfstein will be available for purchase at Internet from 8 December
