Despite the Covid-19 and for the last collection of the year, on Friday, December 18, 130 people came to donate some blood to save lives.
No less than 121 bags of blood were taken and will be used to save the sick or injured in clinics and hospitals in the region. “We warmly thank the chefs Alexandre and Jean-Claude of” Bistrot d’Alex “for their high-end snack served to each donor: oysters, foie gras, salmon, sweets”, underlines Jean-Pierre Gracia, president of the association of blood donors.
He takes the opportunity to greet the “merchants of the town and surrounding villages who allow us to affix in their window, the posters announcing the collections”. Finally, the president hopes that for all members of the friendly “2020 is a bad memory and may the new year bring marked improvements”.
