The French Grand Prix of artisanal charcuterie? It is an intense three-day competition conceived by the national confederation of gastronomic gastronomies, aimed at promoting the know-how of professionals.

It will take place from 21 to 23 October near Nancy, or at the Stanislas high school in Villers-lès-Nancy then at the exhibition center, for its final, open to the public. On Friday and Saturday the candidates will be in the kitchen to create five traditional pieces. They will also have to imagine a variation of “nomadic bites”, street-food style, from four of the aforementioned recipes. A novelty of the competition, “which responds to today’s consumption patterns”, specifies the head of communication for the event.

The announcement of the results will take place on Sunday 23 October at 1 pm at the Vandoeuvre exhibition center which will host the Nancy Beer and Flavors Market. In addition to the gold, silver and bronze trophies, the three winners will receive a check for € 5,000, € 3,000 or € 2,000 depending on their ranking.
