Petfluencer Ella captured thousands of people on Instagram with her photos. A few days ago the Great Dane hiked over the Rainbow Bridge.
Bad Nauheim – A snout filled with spaghetti, rolls or a whole pretzel, funny headgear and her distinctive, huge lips and her big, beautiful eyes that you can sink into. With all this and her heartwarming charisma conquered Dog lady “Ella” the hearts of thousands of social media fans. But now her mistress had to send a very sad message. “Ella” is no longer with us.

A few days ago Julie McQuistion (39) published a post on “Ella’s” Instagram profile “myotherusernameisbetter_”, in which she had to announce the death of her beloved treasure. On Wednesday evening, she and the Danish mastiff were on their way to a previously agreed vet appointment.
With the hope that the existing problems – “Ella” struggled above all with heart problems and coughing – could be at least halfway treatable, McQuistion had her loyal companion checked out by a doctor. But he had anything but good news.
As it turned out, the bitch’s heart was no longer able to pump enough blood through the animal’s body. According to the vet, a tumor in “Ella’s” adrenal glands could have caused the tragic circumstance.

For her mistress there was ultimately no other option than to let go of her fur nose and make her goodbye to life as painless as possible. “To say my heart was broken would be an understatement,” wrote the dog mom in the farewell post.
The Great Dane took her last breath in the arms of her mistress – a better, but also sadder, farewell to his beloved treasure can hardly be imagined as a pet owner.

With her funny photos, Ella had over 31,000 followers on Instagram until her death. These were sometimes also devastated by the sad news and expressed their sympathy with numerous messages and small gifts.
“I am so extremely grateful to have had her for ten years, nine months and 19 days in my life … your mom loves you”, were the closing words of the dog mom from the Hessian Bad Nauheim.
