The Premier League authorities rejected the Brazilians’ request. Clubs triumph
Such decisions did not appeal to the Brazilian federation, which decided to apply to the Premier League authorities for the suspension of players who did not appear at the training camp. They were to be banned from appearing in the next 4th round of the tournament.
The protest from the Brazilian federation upset the Premier League clubs, for which the absence of Brazilian players would be a huge problem. For example Liverpool he would lose as many as three players from the basic squad – Alisson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino.
Fortunately for English clubs, the Premier League authorities did not finally agree to the Brazilian federation’s request and all players who were to be banned will be able to appear in the next round. It will start on Saturday, September 11 at 1.30 pm with Tottenham’s match against Crystal Palace.
