FLY. Russian President Vladimir Putin will address parliamentarians of the Federal Assembly during a ceremony to be held today at 12 (local time) in Gostiny Dvor in Moscow. The last time Putin gave the presidential address on the state of the federation was in April 2021, recalls the Tass. Federal television stations, still reports the Tass, have budgeted an hour for the broadcast of the presidential address. However, according to the spokesman, “it is a formality” and the president could speak longer, such as in April 2021, when the speech lasted 1 hour and 19 minutes or in 2018, 1 hour and 55 minutes.
The format of the event does not include the presence of foreign guests and is aimed at the national public. Among the thousand invited, lawmakers and senators, members of the government, senior officials of the presidential administration, heads of the attorney general’s office, members of constitutional and supreme courts, heads of regions, religious leaders. This year, also participants in the «special military operation», we read. As for the media, the Kremlin has decided to invite “only Russian journalists and journalists from friendly countries”.
