If the incidence rate of the Grand Est region (490.6) is higher than that of the country (472.4), according to the latest data communicated by Public Health France, the departmental figures show a significant drop.
While most recorded an incidence rate above 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, the highest incidence rate concerns the Ardennes department, with 574.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

The youngest much less affected
Unlike in recent weeks, it is no longer the youngest who are most affected by the virus.
Still according to the same source, the highest incidence rate concerns people aged 70 to 79 (652.6). Next come people aged 80 and over, but also those aged 30 to 39 (550).
The incidence rate is then 537.9 in 50-59 year olds, 519.9 in 60-69 year olds, 499.6 in 40-49 year olds, 468.8 in 20-29 year olds, 359, 3 among 0-9 year olds and finally 328.9 among 10-19 year olds.
